I'm talking about putting the whole BMW housing on to replace the OEM LEGEND Housing...

I'm assuming you are joking...

The 5 Series Housings will be a closer fit to the G2 Coupes headlamps...Civics are not even similar...

You could put the m5 lights in a OEM Legend housing. I think those projectors would look great in a blacked out J-spec housing. Arent those the aftermarket lamps? I saw them in a magazine a month ago. Just my thoughts.

Ya, but if you just put the rings in though, your beam pattern will be hindered...Plus it won't look right/fit between the chrome bezel on our headlights...

Also, if you are gonna do this serious of a mod, do it right the first time..Go with the Xenon M5 Headlamps.....

Also, those aftermarket civic projector lights are very poorly made...Most are basically cheap projector foglights put into the housings which = weak beam pattern...Just go with OEM HID IMO...

Yeah i'm going along the lines of Matt. Cause a mod of this extreme yeah I would want to do it right.. I think the headlight housing would probably cost about 600-1000. Then the installation mabey 1000-1500 for an excellent job.

I just dont want to be expensive RICE cause i'm putting BMW Housing on a LEGEND.

But I think they look cool as hell..

Nope, same size...M5 is basically a 5-Series with different(Angel Eye) headlights, wheels, and other options..

Beam pattern wouldn't be hindered if you are using the unaltered BMW housings...

They aren't...I thought that only the M5 had angel eyes...Guess I could be mistaken....I guess anything is an option if the owner wants it...

The 5-Series headlights are probably the closest fit, but it's going to take sooooooo much work to get them to fit. Unless you have the ability to use the proper tooling and diy, you are going to need tons of money. It is going to need to be fiberglassed, molded, and repainted. Not only that, but you are dealing with 3, possibly 4 panels requiring modification .

I agree....HID is cool and all, but it is not worth that trouble unless you have major $FLOW$ and it doesn't matter how much you spend....I suggest getting an HID Kit or mounting projectors in your current housings...

hell yea dog... i think it will look hella tight i was looking into it my self... but i am already doing an extream head and tail light conversion... i am doin the nissian silvia s-15 head light and tail light i am also goin to do a VIS cyber front bumper and rear bumper and i am goin with extream side skirts.... i am doin all of this on a coupe ... so as u can see the body kit is made all the a sedan and i am goin with total custom for every thing i am dropping it off next saturday for work...

I know you guys are talking Angel Eyes, but will the lights out of the 2k2 TL fit my Legend because everytime I see those lights I keep saying I have to have them..........Holla Back

OK guys, just to clear up the confusion about the new BMW angel eyes. The 97-2000 5 series had the old style headlight, and the 2001 and newer had the angel eyes regardless it is halogen or xenon.
