perhaps you can mod them, Thai
I know...I meant just taking the eyepieces out...may be cheaper than 5-series lightsMatt Whelan said:

The 5 Series Housings will be a closer fit to the G2 Coupes headlamps...Civics are not even similar...
Ya, but if you just put the rings in though, your beam pattern will be hindered...Plus it won't look right/fit between the chrome bezel on our headlights...Leon Millette said:

Nope, same size...M5 is basically a 5-Series with different(Angel Eye) headlights, wheels, and other options..Thai.95LCoupe said:Hmmm the M5 housing is bigger than the 540? Also I wonder would the beam pattern be hindered since I'm putting BMW headlights on a Legend...
They aren't...I thought that only the M5 had angel eyes...Guess I could be mistaken....I guess anything is an option if the owner wants it...LegendGS said:Hmm... how are the M5 "Angel Eye" headlights different from the other 5-series "Angel Eye" headlights?
I agree....HID is cool and all, but it is not worth that trouble unless you have major $FLOW$ and it doesn't matter how much you spend....I suggest getting an HID Kit or mounting projectors in your current housings...SpeedDemon said:The 5-Series headlights are probably the closest fit, but it's going to take sooooooo much work to get them to fit. Unless you have the ability to use the proper tooling and diy, you are going to need tons of money. It is going to need to be fiberglassed, molded, and repainted. Not only that, but you are dealing with 3, possibly 4 panels requiring modification.

Yeah, got me thinking there. No, I believe that all 5-series angel eyes are the same.
When not driving my Legend(s), I drive a '01 540, a '02 540 6-speed, and a '00 530. All have angel eyes, and the 530 is even halogen (which surprised me too).![]()
None of the BMWs are mine though. I just drive them a lot.Leon Millette said:
