Congrats, your car looks brand new again. I'm sure it feels better driving around in a nice clean car right?

I also had some work done to my car - it will probably be ready either monday or tuesday- I can'r wait.

What part of NY are u from/ The background lot looks familiar?

Wow, what a difference! I was going to get some rear quarter panel stuff done, but found out it would cost me over $900. This one will have to wait...

How much did all this cost you? Whatever it did, from what the pictures show they did a fantastic job.

Hopefull they did a good job getting the rust removed. I had rust around the rear wheel weels, and I got my whole car painted about 18 months ago. It looked great for a while, but now a lot of the rust is comming back in the same places

Wow, I am so glad to see another G1 restored! Did they repaint the whole car, and how did they go about fixing the rust?

Looks awesome!

Yes they repainted the whole car :)

I don't know exactly how they did the rust but I know he knows how to take care of it. I went to him because I saw the work he had done on a friends car which was in bad shape and he made it look like new:D

I have put 3600.00 worth of work into it, dgmw I love the car it's just that I have put way more then I paid for the car, and I havent even touched the restoration part of it :( I l o v e my Legend but I cannot afford the restoration part of it now, all the money I had saved up for restoring the car I bought went to keeping it running, granted it now runs like a dream, but it still has all the front end damage and all the scratches ect.

I understand flash. I had my car for over a year now and the only reason I was able to get the bodywork done was thanks to my wife:D :D :D :D I still have to get one more repair done(my PSF is leaking) but yeah i put MUCH MORE into the car than what I paid for it.

Good luck man

Your legend look great after the body works. Congratualtion. I'll take my Legend (G2) to get the rust out too (at the same spot as your but very small, like about 2" long on both sides). How is your car now? Does the rust come back at all in the past 4 months? I really want to know what to expect if I will pay $700 to fix the rusts. I know that winter in northeast is pretty bad consider they put an insane amount of salt on the highway :( I live in MA and have the same problem.

i thought maybe someone did something CUSTOM to there g1, anyway, my car is in the shop right now, getting all 4 handles shaved, inner tail lights, corner lights, and antenna, and all emblems shaved, and im painting the whole thing too. so far i havent seen any other g1 with this kind of **** done to it, so should be interesting to hear what people say. how much did you pay for that repair??after im done painting it im not doing anything else to it, no exhaust or intake, strictly luxury, i dont want no rice ripper exhaust or anything like that, just rims lowered shaved and custom paint, i might get a wood dash kit later this year, who knows.
