I was wondering if anyone on this forum works in an Acura Service department or parts department. I am having problems with the BOSE amp in my 1991 LS Sedan and was notified that there was a recall on the amps. When I went to Fountain Acura they said that it was performed on my car. But the funny part was he didn't even look at the computer for any more than 15 sec so I think he was pulling my chain. Caould someone look it up for me and let me know before I go and buy an amp.

But I think that any recall is good for a minimum of 5 years and saftey recalls are indefinite. I would count a fire problem as a saftey recall!

When I go to Owners Link and enter the VIN it comes up Blank. When I try to do it manually it wont let me select Year, Model, Trim, etc.... Could someone run that VIN for me and see if it shows up and let me know.

Well I finally got in there and according to Owner's Link the problem was fixed. So why would the AMP go bad in under 4 years?
