Boy am I pissed
With Import Toys! Six weeks after placing my order for the JIC SA 1 coilover suspension I'm informered it's no longeger available. Get your sh!t straight before advertizing the product!

O.K.
First of all, JIC advertised that they had the SA1 setup on their website,Their catalog and dealer sheets that they send out to shops.
2) I called them to see if they had them here in the states( I knew that was a long shot...)
3) The rep at JIC told me that they did have them but it would be special order from Japan.
4) I told him to call Japan and find out if they had any available to him and to hold an order that i had already placed with them so that it would cover your shipping to the US ( I got to write the shipping charges off since the other order was for our company)
5) He calls me back and says that he can get it here along with my stuff between 5-8 weeks...Cool.
6) ............Thats why there was a 2 day delay between my first and second Email to you....i was waiting for him to make sure they were available
7) The container gets here and it doesnt have my exhaust (which they advertise as well) and a set of SF1's which I didnt order.
8) I call down to them here in the states and my rep has gone back Japan...no biggie,i've got people over there at JIC Japan.
I end up talking to the owner of JIC and he says that they NEVER had them Or made them....EVER
My exhaust that was ordered months before Daves stuff has yet to be made.
So now im sitting there on the phone early in the moring (for Japan time) with my mouth standing open because I have no-one to yell at.
why do they advertise it and say that they have it?? i have no Idea but It makes their vendors(us) look bad in situations like this.
I wrote you with even more detail Dave about what was going on and kept you informed....but now i have to take the time to make a looooong post like this??
I was happy that someone had stepped past the 'ground controls' to get a REAL damper system...And also on a personal level I was did the same way by them.
Its sad that they would leave their vendors 'out-there' like that and Im pretty pissed about it considering the things we had started to work on (the stuff I mentioned in my last email to you)
And the fact that it looks plain BAD for Importtoys.com
People know from my posts and dealing with the staff at Importtoys that we are as straight up as it gets....even to a fault at times.
Like I told you Im not really sure where that leaves us with JIC. They make great products(the stuff that they do have) but there was no excuse for them tying up everyones money and time.
And me having to come to a message board after people emailing ..............this shouldnt happen.
Dave, I understand that you are upset and need to vent....I really do..........but you have to tell the whole story.

Haha this is starting to sound like the post 9/11 Bush issue..What was known and what wasen't is the question.
