My brake light has been coming on and off, is this linked to anything other than the Park Break?

Is it going on when you accelerate, decelerate and go up steep nclines, etc? Check the brake fluid level in your master cylinder.

It seems to be sporadic. I live in Texas, very few inclines. I do not travel the freeway for going over overpasses. So it is a strait flat shot home. But it would be good to check my break fluid.

If I'm low on brake fluid the brake light will go on for an instant if I accellerate hard from a stop. I'd check your brake fluid level in the master cylinder.

That was it 5speed. I thought maybe there was a sensor for the park break maybe getting stuck, the car being a little old and all. I did see of course wires going into the lid for the break fluid to indicate the level. I would have though this would be on the display under the dash storage. Thanks again.
