me and my buddy in the sedan....my cousin was driving the 2 dr legend both are the same year, just that the coupie has twice as many miles but still hauls a**.....straightaway on the freeway, we both gunned it and both buried the needle past 140....it stays at about 145-150 im guessing but the RPM's still rise.....so im not exactly sure how fast we were going..... i was slowly gaining on the coupie but we finally let up as we had to exit......sure was a rush though to see past 140 again....the last time was about 3 months ago.....they both reach and got up to 110-115 quick and easily....its like i see triple digits everyday on the speedometer.....but, everthing after that was just gradually increasing.....wish i coulda taken a pic of the speedo.....i have intake, cat-less exhaust, and chip rollin on chrome 17's...the coupie is all stock....

my guess is that the chip raises your Rev limit to i think 7000 so you have a higher top speed

did it take a long time to reach those speeds...must have cuz it sure does take a long time for me to get over 110mph

slow?....no no.....all GO!

acutually it didnt seem long at all......i hit past 140 two nights in a row....im not trying to set a record or anything....but i just wanted to test my car after taking the cat off and installing a straight pipe.....i would have to say that it definitely gets up to high speeds alot quicker even though i expected increased torque and more low end power. so i concluded that no increase in low end, but high end performance is a noticable gain....this wasnt a slow slow increase after 110 mph...i know what that feels like stock.....this was a very smooth gradual increase in speed....although i dont know for sure how fast i was going....i do know that my rpm's were a lil past 5500 before i quit.....dayam i love LEGENDS.....

yeah my baby went past 140mph like 2 weeks ago. I really think it would do almost 150 b/c it was still going strong

You guys should bring a GPS with you on one of your high speed trips so you can see how fast you really are going once you bury the needle at 140.

I def want to see a pic(of speedo). Not doubting you at all, just thats crazy and I don't think id have the balls to do it so i just wanna see it.:bowdown:

Something must be wrong with your legend then, I hit 110 super quick starting from 60.

yeah i have to agree with Speeddemon. though i dont do too TOO often, i can plow thru 110 going up hill
