I have the lowest G1 legend on the forums and I have no tire problems, I'm running 205-40-17's with my frame sitting a little under 5-inchs off the ground! I'm aligned to stock specs but I did replace all my Ball Joints, Upper Control Arms, Bushings, and everything when I did the suspension drop which makes a big difference.
