I am getting more and more serious about getting an Indash LCD/DVD player unit. I am just afraid of theives and losing $1500...Is it worth it guys? Ohmygoditsdanny? Could I purchase it and then pay a little extra on my insurance each month?? Thanks.

I like my in dash LCD monitor. Also, many insurance companies cover aftermarket things like rims, stereo and whatever as long as you can provide proof of purchase (receipt). I have State Farm and I just need to provide a receipt. Also, I have AIG, and they require you to take out a seperate policy for the added aftermarket stuff. Eitherway, insurace can be had that covers any aftermarket item. It just depends on the insurance company how they handle it.

Honestly I go everywhere with fear, but since the only time my car can be jack is while I'm at home and while I'm in school. That's why I'm ordering the add on pager alarm. It'll go up to 3/4 of a mile, My class is only a couple of steps to my car and so is my room. If any idiot tries to get into my car I swear I'll come out and put a couple of holes in them. Beside don't let that kind of shiet scare you away from spoiling yourself, buy now worry later.
