Well the meaning of this post is watch out for people in nj/ny..........My tenant who lives upstairs from me here in newark had his car stolen a 1993 civic h/b- rims, hid's, racing seats etc etc he only had it for 4 days!!!! he didnt have ins....!!
The scary part is my car was in driveway and i fell asleep and didint lock it up and i only have a factory alarm!!! couple months ago there was a burgundfy 4 door legend down the street on bricks still running w/ no interior??? im scared !!!
My other friend had his Audi TT stolen last night or early this morning!!!! he was in irvington at his girls house- this is the 2nd time since he had car- ? for him if his car is totaled this time(he hopes) how much would he get?? he checked different sites and they have retail value and private party and trade in.......which one does ins go by??? He still owes mucho $$ and he just wants to break even, but if it isnt retail value he will lose???
Now i just spoke to a fellow legend owner i know in yonkers and he told me his car had got stolen friday night!!! he had a 92 ls 4 door sedan white- mostly stock now he said he only paid 1000 when he registered car and hes scared he will only get that much from ins even though his car is retailed @ 10,000 i told him i would post this on here to see if anyone has knowledge in this ins and vale of cars?? anyone know what they go by???
The point of this is the warm weather is here and all this bs car stealing is starting up again and i hope im not a victim b/c i have ins but if my car gets stolen and they go by private value or trade in, i will lose money- just invested in new speakers, new clutch(1100 total), tune up and others...........is it even worth to pay for theft if u dont even get retail value????
