Carland Acura of Georgia

Got a call from Carland Acura in Georgia and they said that the coupe trunk springs I ordered last week were no longer in stock. Any ideas on where I can get them. Needed to hold the trunk up due to the heavy OEM spoiler.

Are you referring to the heavy duty trunk springs?
Try Acura of Augusta (1-800-736-6818). On my 1992 Cpe, there are two torsion positions which are part of the mounting base. The tongue of the base has two settings (notches). The highest setting is when the bar is placed in the rear setting. Repositioning could be of some benefit.

Good info. I went to my dealer and he printed out the lay out for the trunk and how the springs are mounted. I'll take a look at what you just explained to me. I hope I dont get locked in the trunk. I'll keep my cell in the trunk with me , LOL!! thx;)
when i baught my car i didnt know why the trunk wouldnt stay open then i asked the guy i baught it from he said, he put the spoiler after he got the car so the spoiler is heavy and pushes it down, where can i get that thing that holds it up ?lol
