I have a cd changer but it skips whenever the bass hits hard. Is this because my cd changer is in the truck w/ my 12 inch subs or is it because i have a cheap cd changer? Please help.

first of all, is it the factory one?

second, depends on how hard your subs hit, and what they are setup to...

More than likely though, yes...you may need to install some dynamat in the panels adjacent to your changer or on your changer to help suppress those low freq's
