Changing from Honda Semi to Mobil1
Its been about one year since the last oil change, and I was thinking of doing a full engine oil flush, and using 0W-40 mobil1.
As per the service history, the dealer used a semi synthetic engine oil rated at 10W-40.
Will using a 0W-40 (basically thinner oil at lower temps) have any detrimental effect on my engine?

I use Mobil 1 0w-30 and haven't had any issue's so far.

1/4 would do just fine.
JDMKang...and what does that do? Does it clean everything out releasing any gunk? Also, how long do you want to run it like that?1/4 would do just fine.
yes it do its a detergent let it run a for about 5 min but make sure its not over filled!
