i just heard they come out. But you may want a amp because the stock deck dosen't come with a good amp. Since bose speaker have a amp for every single speaker, unless you take the amp out of the stock speakers and wire it up to your new ones.

G2's don't have amps on every speaker.

The L has a built in amp on the headunit
The LS/GS has a separete amp behind the back seat.

Putting in MB quarts might not give you the sound you want. Because your LS uses 1-2ohm speakers, MB quarts are 4ohms. So if you putting 4ohms speakers, the speakers will be running at half the power and will sound somewhat distorted at some volume ranges.

There are aftermarket 2ohm speakers, but they're rather expensive and rare. If you want to put in nice speakers such as mb quarts, it better you get a aftermarket amp to give them the power they deserve.

True that, because i just replaced the Bose speakers in the back of the car without even thinking about the ohm situation, and threw in some Polk Audio Db 5520s and they sound like **** on this Bose system.
