I was having problems with my CD changer playing burned CD's, so I took my changer out, opened it and clean the lense that reads the cds. What I used to clean it was alcohol and a q-tip, and now it play like new no pauses or anything before. So if you are having any issues clean the lense first before doing anything else.

I'm having a similar problem with my cd changer. Is it easy to take out and take apart and clean, or would it be simpler to clean with a cd cleaner from the store. thanks

Take it out and clean it with a alcohal prep pad... I've done this b4 and mentioned it in the past... "it's a good thing" --=Keith

yeah, just open the changer and get a long q-tip and some alcohol and get to cleaning. Very easy. I noticed the difference soon as I put my CD-R's cd's in my changer, first it took a long time for them to play, but soon as I clean the lense they played soon as I put them in the changer with no pauses.

ok guys im going to try it today. hopefully i have the same results because i just bought a new cd burner!!!!
