Finally got around to installing my S2000 antenna mast. I also painted my corners and turn signals with Testors amber paint. They are not great but they did the job, which was hide the cracks on the corner light and the inspector passed her(they'll soon be replaced with jdm 1 piecers). I know I need to lower her but I've decided to wait until spring to do that.

Just passed the century mark on my chassis.

You gotta do something about those holes above the key hole on the trunk.
The "A" symbol that used to be there was gold but now it's all chipped up and faded. I guess I could paint it and put it back on. Any suggestions? Should I paint it, should I get it shaved, should I get some plugs to plug up the holes???

How is the reception on your radio with that antenna?
It's no worse than the old antenna mast which used to be a similar euro mast except it was twice as long. I've realized that no rubber/euro style antenna will give me the same reception as the OEM metal rod antenna mast. I get all the radio stations in my area but when I am traveling away from Northern VA, I will lose stations sooner than if I had my OEM mast. I guess it's more cosmetic than it is functional, but 90% of the time I am in my car, I am listening to a CD.

Yea, same with me. I don't listen to the radio as much.

... and beyond! I'm going to take a pic of mine at 200,000 by the time Christmas rolls around.

BTW Fliplegend; very nice sedan. It's one of the cleanest champagne sedans I've seen. The paint color on corners and bumper signals isn't my style, but once you get the JDMs in there it'll be HOT. Keep up the good work.

Thanks man, I would trade my car for yours anyday of the week and twice on Sundays. Yes, the turn signals aren't great but I was scared of failing inspection with a huge spider crack on both corner lights. The paint did a good job of hiding them. I'm checking out several jdm 1 pc. ebay auctions now.

Was the s2k antenna easy to install? Or did you have to modify anything? I'm want to do something like that but i wasn't sure if its a direct fit or not.
Fairly easy. It's a "screw-on" type of mast and lucky for me, the base was the same size. The threads didn't exactly match but it wasn't noticeable until it was all screwed in. I added some super glue where the mast and the base make contact for added security, unfortunately, thieves in my area still steal these things.
