I fitted a cone filter yesterday and as I looked inside the intake I noticed a little brown discolouration on the butteryfly valves and a little oil near where the breather pipe enters the intake- does my intake need a clean?
any advice on how to clean intakes would be appreciated. I thought I remembered something about spraying a cleaner in there whilst the engine is running?

Intake Cleaner

You can go to any auto parts store and buy a can of Intake cleaner with full instructions on the back.I remember cleaning mine it was simple all you do is preaty much take the intake houseing off the throttle body and spray the s*hit in the throttle body with the engine running and opening&closeing the butterfly

Don't forget to brush......

Seriously, use a nylon toothbrush and scrub both sides of the throttle plate (with the engine off).
