Clunk (hollow) sound from the rear
I am hearing a clunk (hollow) sound once in a while, from the rear while turning or going over the uneven road, SOME SPECIAL WAY. It sounds like the muffler is loose but I did checked the muffler pipes and rear suspension elements (to the best of my ability) under the car briefly, but nothing seems to be loose under there, apparently things looks tight.
I will remove every thing from the trunk, though nothing in there should be making that sound.

Sounds like your struts may be blown. I would also remove the rear speakers and look to see if every thing is tight.
Are u sure, wheel bearing can make such a sound? It almost sound like a drum.
I did checked the rear struts by pushing the car downwards from the back, seems OK, no abnormal sound. Will check speakers soon.

prolly the lower portion of the rear sway bar links.its a bolt-thru -bushing design,rock the car by the roof left and right, have someone under the car looking at the lower part of the sway bar link and look for play at the end
It mostly happening, during roundish left turn in a specific way. It sounds more like a drum, I was pretty sure that it has something to do with the exhaust pipes or muffler. I have gone under the car twice while jacked up and push and pull every possible thing including the sway bar, but nothing seems to make that noise.
I also pushed the car by the roof as you suggested, but was unable to reproduce that sound.

I did check the play in rear wheel bearing assemblies and found that there is a little extra play in the rear right passenger side wheel bearing. It knocks more than the left does, when push by both hands from 2 and 10 O'clockmay be wheel bearing
But still not the sure the drum like sound should come from that.
It is very difficult just to replicate noises, particularly in front of a mechanic, so troubleshooting them on the WWW is an exercise in guessing. Now, the drumming wheel bearing scenario is possible. Turning left, the Pax rear tire has a wider radius pushing it to the outside, then when the car rolls straight the tire aligns. Then the wheel bearing cylinders almost instantly align or snap under pressure with the bearings spinning. Years ago I had some similar noises with another FWD auto.

94Legd, it could be a failing wheel bearing, that is all I am trying to say. But as I stated in my first sentence, it is very hard to ascertain what causes an occasional noise in a car. It could also be a failing strut which suddenly extends, or a loose ball joint, also a deteriorated spring mount, among other things. However, if you have too much play in the wheel, probably the wheel bearing needs replacement. Hopefully that is the culprit, and it could be.
