may be wheel bearing
I did check the play in rear wheel bearing assemblies and found that there is a little extra play in the rear right passenger side wheel bearing. It knocks more than the left does, when push by both hands from 2 and 10 O'clockmay be wheel bearing
If you had the same drumming sound, then I take your analysis as the final answer. It is very difficult just to replicate noises, particularly in front of a mechanic, so troubleshooting them on the WWW is an exercise in guessing. Now, the drumming wheel bearing scenario is possible. Turning left, the Pax rear tire has a wider radius pushing it to the outside, then when the car rolls straight the tire aligns. Then the wheel bearing cylinders almost instantly align or snap under pressure with the bearings spinning. Years ago I had some similar noises with another FWD auto.
