still havent been able to fix ecu code 6 (engine coolant temp sensor) ive replaced the sensor itself, but still shows error after ecu reset. my local honda dealer are pretty much useless, anyone got any suggestions? im thinkin its the wiring possibly :confused:

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide for Code 6. Nice two-page list. Verifies voltages and resistance at both the sensor end and (first) the ECU.

Oops!, Just noticed your have a 2.0 TURBO. JDM version for sure.
Don't think it'd be much different, but could be.
Hey, its the sensor that screw in to the block. it has a 2 wire electrical plug that connects on to it, and its pretty much directly below the distributor.
done a bit of research on the net and founf the sensor itself should read 400-600ohms resistance, and the plug, approx 5 volts... Ill do the test tomorrow.

Any ideas where to get and online manual for the 1st gen legend? shouldnt be to much different accross the different models.
