i was wondering what u all though was the better cold air distributor, maker, designer what ever i would like to get one and want to know were to get one from. and were does it go i could really see were it would go on my G2 L sedan

No one make a cold air intake for our cars. Yet! Leon is going in for some measurements soon. After that we will have an idea on price. The more people that buy the lower the price. This will be a two piece system based off a Weapon-R intake, I think. I will feature a K&N filter and an AEM by-pass valve. We should know soon. Keep your eyes out for a post.

If this happens I hope that the filter doesn't come with it. Most of us already have filters and many people have their own preference on what they like using. I do think though that the tube + bypass valve is a great idea.

why r the extension pipes not PIPEs on the weapon r it looks just like the stock hose on some cars! isnt the point of the intake to make a smooth air flow entrance, like the ram air pipes? the extension pipe i saw wasnt smooth on the inside. was i just seeing things?!

I'm in High School and in Metals Shop. If someone could design something and measure it out I could most likely create it. There is no way though for me to do any mandrel bending. We need to find someone to do that for us.

Man I didn't expect such a response. Well, the CAI my mechanic is working on is based off the wepon-R because that is what Leon already has. All it consists of is a mandrel bent pipe going from the Weapon R to the inside of the pasenger side fender. Yes, this does include an AEM bypass valve. I see no reason why I can have them made for other filters, as long as the diameter is the same. Leon is suppose to go in soon to get some measurememts done. After that I shoud have a price for all of you. Keep your eyes open. This is happening!

Thanks sleeper, I'll definitely be interested. My 90 degree bent pipe thing from Leon's DIY guide gave me a boost in performance so I can only imageine what the mandrel bent pipe will do for me.
