I'm sorry to hear that. The fact that this all happened after you had the radiator replaced makes me think something happened while it was in the shop or something was not done right. I know I'm being pessimistic, but if you took it to Hinshaws I would not be surprised, these are the same guys who destroyed my friend's Integra engine.
Also, I was expecting it to cost much more than $1700 at the dealer. I was thinking more like $2200 or something like that.

Well, the radiator was installed by an independant mechanic. And acutally it is going to cost more, they mis-quoted me at first. I'm done talking about the price though, because I'll just get people responding saying I'm paying too much.

VENTING: They were saying that they will try to have it done by Friday. The heads are still at the machine shop!! I talked to them today and it said it's looking pretty slim that I'll get my car tomorrow!!

I originally took my car to them last Tuesday to look at the overflow tank problem. AHHHHHH I just want my freaking car back in working order!!

Just needed to vent-thanks for reading.

The headgasket problem is becoming a trend. How many miles on your Legend? What type of coolant did you use? Did you at any time run the vehicle and have it overheat? How old was the radiator when you replaced it? Same ? re H20 pump. Trying to determine if there is any commonality to this ever growing problem.

Wow, this thread came back from the dead!! :D

From my personal experience I can say that milage has nothing to do with blowing a headgasket. I had 70,000 miles on my Legend when my headgasket blew. My Legend did overheat at one point slightly, but I was not in the car. When I got in after going into an office really quick it was overheating. The old radiator was the original as far as I know. Once of the problems, IMO was the fact that when I had my mechanic change my radiator (not an Acura specialist-but a very good mechanic) I did not have him put in Honda/Acura coolant. But now, my Legend is great-I have replaced enough things that I'm hoping nothing else could happen. :D

I read this and i'm sorry to hear.. But i love your posts.. hahaha they had me rolling
I assume you mean the last few posts from when I wanted my car back, because a blown head gasket is no laughing matter.
