Only one that has been willing to race me so far (and HE instigated) was a piece of crap Rabbit convertible.... I never left 2nd gear !!!

My wife drives a 00 honda accord v6 4 door (3.0L- 200 hp). I've tried to get her to race me but she won't . I've driven her car on several road trips and it feels a little faster then my coupe, but it's a auto. I'm really sure- it's hard to tell- But I have faith in our G1 's .

I don't know about the regular CL, But my father has a 01 CL type S and all I have to say is don't even try it.

accord - yes but not by very much
CL - probably not. just don't bet any $ on this one.

The accord maybe, I would say yes if you're the better driver.
The CL...unless you're looking to be humiliated...no.
My roommate has a 2001 CLS. The 30 or so HP more over the non type S is still significant over our G1's.

Give it a whack, if nothing else it's fun to try!
