Cruise Control Question

875 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  WhiteLegend
Ok, I was wondering why exactly there is a cruise control button.(The one that lights up when you press it)...Is it bad to drive around while it is lit up but while you aren't using CC?...If not, why not just have it always activated(so you don't have to press lit button) and then you could just set your speed and cancel when you like...? Thanks.

that's exactly what most do...leave the master on and just engage at the wheel when and if you want to....
To prevent accident depression of the CC button on your steering wheel. That's the purpose. But as for how well it serves that purpose, I'm unsure.
