hey legend_101, i will send paypal on the 5th of next month. thats when i get paid. from the pic it seems like there are 2 different kind of cleartop/redbottom. some of them look like they got red outline and some dont. am i mistaking or see things? but the red outline does look good tho. please reply back and let me know if they are the same. thanks!!

You're not seeing things.. there's 3 different options for the coupes.

Hi all. I'm a recent new member from over in New Zealand and have been enjoying your collective wisdom for a long time - this is an absoutely brilliant forum in so many ways. :bowdown:

LEGEND 101, I have a couple of questions on the tail lights:

1. Could you be bothered sending a set of the red/clear Coupe's to New Zealand? Probably not much different to sending them across the States but I'll completely understand if you don't want to. However, if doable then...

2. I read the whole thread but got a bit lost as to which 'range' and quality level was currently applying to the Coupe lenses. Are they the same quality as the ones L3GDKANG/JDMKANG was speaking so highly of in his 30 March post?

That's kazuu's car in the sig and those are jdm oem side markers but I'll see what I can do as the only clear set I have are for my coupe.

ok thnx i've been huntin and askin for theses my jetta has them and i was thinking of slappin on a pair ,but german on my legend nah i gotta keep it real lol,so tell me more about the wheels he got and the kit are the also jdm ? an /or can your hookup/cousin as i read on anthr thrread can they get jdm kits if any available ? the only i know of is admiration the front grill is slammin:thumbsup:

This would be a mod where I would buy a set of tails at the junk yard. Then use them to install the red/clear/reds.

I like the look of the updated tails.

Custom Taillights "Red"

Here's a pic what I've found in the Photoplog Gallery and whose owner is "blkonblkcpe". These taillights are exactly the ones I need because I love the red section instead of the amber one so I'd pay a good price for.

I need a pair of the complete taillights! I can't use a set of lenses (see 1st Post) because the procedure to rebuild them is too complex.

MikeD .. get yourself some testors 1605 spray enamel and do them to your oem lights. there are videos on youtube on how to do it .. either search for testors or vht niteshades, its the same process.

Quick update: All of the Coupe lenses are sold out. Will probably get some more in within the next month or longer. Sedans, I have 2 sets of all clears remaining.

Update: I've just received a couple of batches of coupe and sedan lenses last week. Here's the count. I have about 5 sets of R/C/Rs and a couple of all clears for Sedans. Coupes, I have a few sets of all clears.

In the next few weeks will be one of the last few batches I will be receiving. After all these are sold out, I'll be closing this group buy. This group buy has been open for over 2 years now. I see that the interests has gone down and there's no need for me to keep this to remain open. All those who wanted a set has already ordered. Only ones left are the stragglers who need to make up their mind whether they want em or not. Once the group buy is closed, then it is closed. I will not supply these anymore. Anyone who wants a set of lenses would be lucked out. If you desperately needed a set, then bring me a list of at least 10 buyers (not interests, but buyers) and I'll see about having them special ordered. Price for that should be somewhere around $300 for coupe lenses and $350 for sedans (that is, IF I can persuade my contact guy to get em produced again). He is old, tired and is having health issues and I really don't want to bother him again. I, myself have other priorities that need tend to as well.

All in all, I would like to thank everyone who participated and supported this group buy. This has been both an educational and rewarding experience. I hope that this mod will bring added value to our soon-to-be classic cars.
