one company - no response as of yet but said they might be able to do it
other one- said they CAN make a mold but need to know how many because they only do custom orders for large quantities
and thrid- nothing as of yet.

did they tell u how many orders they need? and for the 1st company how they didnt respond but said they might be able to do it?

I would be down for a set of R/C for the coupe as well, but might consider getting R/C/R for dads sedan if thats all that going to be made. One thing your going to have to consider is the price. Though they may do it, molds arent cheap, as they are normally in the range of $1k + just for the mold. But if they would be able to produce a lens for <$200 i think you will have a large amount of buyers.

they'll probably need donors, usually its after the company gets a donor they say they CAN'T do it

$200 for taillights is a great deal: do you know what your taillights cost new from the dealer?

A few years ago when I bumped my neighbor's truck and blew my taillight out it would've cost me something like $275 for one taillight to buy a new OEM assembly.
