is it normal to have the D4 light comes on with the P light when you turn the key to the ingnition position...and then it shut off when the Engine Check light shut off....it doesnt blink though

My owner's manual sez this is normal when you first turn the Key on...I would check your manual to be sure... I think it is a "self-test" and is normal.... JJ
