Denso Iridium plugs

theres a group buy for them for $55 shipped at groupbuycenter.com

What is the point of them?

does any one have denso plugs??? and if u do how is the proformance

according to what ive seen +6 HP gain and +6 torque gain on a Type I engine, backed up by dyno run. but then again, saw this on ebay, so i dont know...................but they had the actual dyno results i think

According to Denso the Iridiums require less voltage which translates to higher horsepower. Who knows???

The Iridiums cost about the same as the acura recommended NGK plats however Denso recommends the Irids be changed at 30K while acura says change the NGK's at 90K.

This translates into the Irids costing 3x's as much.

I will try the Irids in about a month.

Getting mine from Frank

Do a search on for Denso Iridiums, and you'll find that I put a post up letting everyone know what Frank was doing a group buy for Denso Iridium Spark Plugs for $9.70 ea! So I ended up paying $58.20 with SHIPPING INCLUDED!

I can't recall the email address exactly so that's why you should do a search.

Gilbert, where can I get in on that Group Buy. I know that I'm gonna need some new spark plugs pretty soon anyways, so it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to try these, especially if they give the 5hp increase like they say.

The Denso Iridiums and NGK Platinums both last 60K miles. I bought my iridiums and the brochure has the lasting as long as the platinums. It's the coppers plugs that last 30K. I haven't really noticed any performance difference, but this price in the GB is too good to pass up since both are normally the same price.
