Forgot to mention that the car belongs to stanleyb Thanx so much for sending me the pix!!

this is pretty cool. I almost lost it when I saw it. I have seen this set up on some camaros and other domestics. never seen it on here though. Very cool and looks as if it works great!! Will be getting more info from the owner here shortly!! Another turbo option is exactly what we need and this one solves the problem of lack of space in the engine bay. Take a look and be amazed.

dyno numbers?
don't have them yet but hoping he will add them to the thread if he does have them.
ive seen that before, but think about this, you drive through a big puddle in the rain, you;re screwed

but when the exhaust gets to teh turbo, it would have cooled down a bit which may cause a lil less pressure to turn the turbine.
wouldn't you be looking at some serious lag on the boost?
yea i seen that it's near the muffler.
then the pipes that goes to the t/b.
i think thats why they have the turbo mounted up front.

what does the heat have to do with the exhaust pressure? It should work just fine. I have seen this done with a lot of domestic cars and they work great!! No lag or loss of boost ar all. No real high boost numbers but 6-9 Psi and the charge is much cooler because of it being located so far behind the motor. Don't over think this guys. It is much simpler than it looks. The only thing I dislike is the intake where it is. But if there were a way to put in one of those things from AEM that won't allow the water to get to the motor then I think it would be okay. Anyone here actually like the idea or are you all not seeing the potential that I am seeing?
Um...I dont get me wrong i think the turbo is awesome and stuff too (great work Stanley!!) but my question is which body kit is that?
I Saw Him Around Town And Got To Talk A Little.... That Is The Eubini (sorry About The Spelling) Bodt Kit... The Turbo Is Nice Andlook Well Done..his Car Is A Little Loud For My Taste But It Sounds Good...i Did Not Have Much Time To Talk I Would Like To See It Again
whats up
i havent had a chance to go get dynoed yet trying to find some different places to go do it out here in arkansas but when i do will post numbers.yeah im just trying new things with the intake at first i had it up front near the left wheel well.as far as spool up time no biggy.you will blow the doors off most people.the thing i like about this setup is every thing is pretty much hidden.Greddy computer is set at 7 up to 12psi i run 7 untill i get a boost controller.i did no mods except tranny swap coated pistons, and h22 fuel injectors for now.next thing will probably be lightweight flywheel.Kylefire5 hit met up when you want to meet up.bodykit is a eribuni.I will post more info later about the turbo set up.if yall have any input that will make it better i am willing to try it.
appreciate you guy on the thread
I think we've all been waiting anxiously for the numbers, this turbo setup looks awesome! 12 psi is more than I expected, where did you get the turbo itself?

BP

not a problem man. Now get on the ball with those vids and sound bites so we can see and hear it!!!
Have you scraped the pipes yet? What make/model turbo did you use? Did you do it yourself? Where'd (who did) you get your computer from?
that kit looks like an sts turbo kit, they started the rear turbo system, it's not bad but not that efficient either. And the air intake will eventually give you problems. I would try to route the air intake higher or even in the trunk, trunk scoop?
no clearance problems i have more than enough room.yeah i probably will move the intake.keep coming with ideas to make it better im down to try it.its a t3/t4 turbo my buddy down here has the hook up on turbos.what else do you guys think i need to do to make a better set-up.
