Did you trace any of the brake switch, horn or lights wiring for a short yet?

Check the connector to the low tone horn which is attached to the battery holder. That connector can easily be beat up when replacing the battery. Verify that it is on tight and look at the wires there at the same time and make sure they have not rubbed against the battery holder.

 

i checked the wires by the brake lights, etc and didn't see anything that wasn't right. My subwoofer i thought maybe had come ungrounded, but that is still set up correctly as well. I will try checking the connector because my battery was just replaced recently, so that may be it.

 

I had the exact same scenario. Its the horn behind the bumper. I took mine off and tested it. It was nearly dead. Somehow it was causing the fuse to blow. Regardless of whether or not I used it.

After that, I replaced the fuse, and no more problems.

update- unplugged the lower horn
replaced the fuse

drove it around the block

fuse blew again.

didnt even try to use the horn, and its blown before without using the horn...?

 

Did you check the other horn bolted to the battery tray and its connection/wires?
