I took the harness out from usdm headlights and was going to wire up my JDMs with the 9006 HID kit for the low beams and use the high beam harness to wire up the foglights. So if I hit the high beams the fogs come on. What do you think?

I am doing the same thing. I think it should be fine because you wont be driving with the high beams all the time (fogs are 55W and high beams are 65W). You could try to get H3 bulbs that can handle high power. We have Daytime Running Lights here, so my fogs will be on but at low power and I hardly ever use my high beams.

ok a little help please

on the stock harness there are green,blue, red and black wires
green positive
black ground
low beam

on the JDM fog light harness there is a white and black wire
so between the blue, white, black and red which one do I connect together?

dont do it that way... whats the fun of having fogs if its not going to be on to show them off. just use the parking lights and relay... 5 dollar investment at a car audio shop.

I agree with dgandul: putting them in the parking light circuit with a relay is probably the easiest way and then they're always on (unless you opt to have a separate switch, which I did not). One thing I've noticed though, is that while driving at night, people seem the think that the fogs are high beams, I guess just because they're in the center? I get at least one person flashing their beams at me a night, so I just show 'em mine right back, haha. Anyone else experience that?

i have them wired that way... i just drive with them on whenever my lights are on
passengers always say 'your high beams are on'
