What about the KMS Strut bars? I've been gone a while mind you so maybe they aren't in business or making them anymore, but they were like $145-150 if my memory serves me well.

Or are you not talking about the front upper strut bar & are actually talking about the rear lower tie bar? Or something else?

I cant seem to find a link to Leon's Legends site with the KMS Strut bar & Throttle Body & misc... so maybe a search will pull it up.

If your talking about the rear lower tie bar then I'd like to know so I can try & get in if $$$ and avail funds match up, so leme know the 411.

Well this is more of a performance orientated strut bar that’s less flashy. KMS is very nice, but this design is a proven performance solution. We need more buyers, I know someone out their wants to buy one.

I'm tempted to buy one for the coupe I'm getting and sell my KMS bar to my friend who is buying my sedan, but there is a few things that are holding me back:

1. time - 4 to 5 weeks is a long time to wait (I'm impatient ;-)

2. cost - $255 is alot of money for a bar that does the same as the KMS bar (but I like the fact that it's not as flashy)

3. Distance - I'm in Canada (Toronto)... I assume that this will compound problem 1 and 2 (ie it will cost more to get it here and take even longer than domestic shipping)

Despite this I'm very interested in getting one of these bars, especially if I can be sure that there will be no fitment issues like some experienced with the KMS bar....

Did you email him using the forum's email function? If so, he might not have gotten it as there appears to be a problem with it. Try sending him a PM.

All that said, yes, the buy is still on.

i believe the general consensus is that the MLS bar out performs the KMS bar, handling wise and is less flashy...the KMS bar seems to be more of a show piece that also improves handling, but not as much as the MLS...just what I've gathered someone correct me if i'm wrong

 

Can anyone tell the handling differences between a "MLS" vs "KMS" vs "without"? I just want to know how it feels with/without these strut bars.
