MLS strut bar added to a stock Legend

I am hoping this bar will really make a noticable improvement to my cars handling. I was wondering ....

My 1994 Legend sedan..............
has 67,000 miles
has no performance mods except a K&N filter
the shocks and springs have have never been changed
and I am still running on 15 inch wheels

Do you think that given the lack of upgrades to my car, will I be able to notice an improvement by adding this strut bar ?

Just wondering .... any predictions ?

you'd probably notice a larger difference with a new suspension than adding this bar. i'm pretty much on the same level as you as far as handling, but i'm getting it now because of the price. i'm gonna get new springs and shocks soon, so i figured might as well buy now while i can get it for cheap.

MLS copy bar G/B update!

Some time has passed and the natives are getting a little restless. To keep my PM box from overflowing here's an update:

Finishing welds were done yesterday. As of today the bars are at the power coating plant. They should be back by Friday. Once the bars get back from the power coating process the next step is a final quality/fitment check. To refresh everyone's memory, I'm using LegendGS' sedan for fitment. Reason? My GS had fitment issues from the first MLS copy G/B. Not passing the buck or anything like that but LegendGS is doing me/us a favor adjusting his schedule for this G/B. He's been there each time I called. There's no reason to think he won't be there for this final quality/fitment check. That being said I would venture to say that shipping should begin by Friday, November 7th. As always, I'll keep you updated.

I have the original MLS bar and you will see an immediate differnce the second you put it on I guarantee...

question...is the time difference an error with just the schedule or is it an error with the producer? i really don't feel like this wait is worth 250$ when i was told it'd be at my house in the middle of september to begin with. i understand the whole fitment thing, and that's fine by me. but like if the producer is taking longer on their part. then i feel like we should be partially refunded in some way. nothing personal, it's still business. i've seen several mls copies go up for sale for less than this group buy. i could have jumped on any one of those.

but if it's just fitment and just getting it out and stuff like that......then that's perfectly and honestly fine with me, because i'm still excited that it's coming.

No one likes waiting, and either do I. But this is not "business" and I bet if Fut does make something for his efforts its not nearly enough.

Ya, I want my bar too, but its got to fit when it gets here. I know its better to have it arrive late and fitting perfect than on time or early and not fitting !

i wasn't saying for money to come out of fut's pocket. and yes...when you hire a company to make you something and they tell you it'll be ready in a certain amount of time it's all "business". when i hand someone 250$ (or was it 255$) i'm not asking for a favor from that company since they've already agreed to do it under professional terms. i was asking if the company that collected the money from fut would refund a partial amount (if it was their fault).

now since it is just a schedule issue with getting legendgs to take time out of his busy life (thanks by the way), then it's understandable. also no money needs to be refunded because there's no actual claim against this company.

i hope i make sense, i'm sorta exhausted from today

Well it HAS been along time. It was not exactly a convenient time to come up with the $$$ for me, but we all did so to keep up with the "schedule". The company making these are also obligated to complete these in a timely manner, at least by the "scheduled completion date, or we should be entitled to, if not a partial refund, at least a discount on future purchases.

Do we have to BE HERE when the bars arrive??? That is another issue for me, cuz the expected date keeps changing, and I had vacation planned.

Again let me apologize for all of the delays that cause this buy to go well past the expected ship date. That being said I do not intend to get in to or spell out every detail that caused these delays. Rest assured that every thing possible was done to keep on schedule. I failed to see these delays coming, for that I'm truly sorry.

The special discounted FedEX rate afforded me calls for only one delivery attempt. If there is no answer you must pick up your package at the FedEx station. In keeping with the last MLS copy G/B please note that I will send you your FedEx tracking # via e-mail so everyone can be on the same page and on the lookout for your package.

Good news, I picked up the MLS copy bars yesterday. Today I purchased shipping boxes. Tomorrow LegendGS & I are scheduled to hook-up for the final quality & fitment check. As always, I'll keep you updated.
