there's a 10 mm bolt holding a bracket holding that group of wires on the passenger side. Its a few inches further from the engine than the strut bolt. If you remove it you can get to the strut bolt much easier. I had the same issue yesterday when I installed mine

 

I've got a question. Would putting a MLS bar on compromise the effectiveness of the front crumple zone?

 

I finally got a chance to test my new MLS copy out and I just have to say,

IT IS AWESOME

The installation took me 20 minutes, and the bar is perfect

I got my bar early this week and it looks amazing. I meant to install it sooner but I've been under the weather and missed a few days of work - definitely in no condition to bear the cold to install it (it started to snow up here today!). I plan to install it this weekend and I'll report back as soon as I do!!

I installed mine a few nights ago and I'm loving it!! The car is already really tight and responsive thanks to the GCs/Konis/17" CL-S rims, but I did notice added tightness when cornering (especially in transition) thanks to the strut bar. I also like the fact that it looks OEM in the engine bay and not flashy like the KMS bar (don't even get me started about the KMS fitment issues!!).

Overall I'm really happy with the bar!! ROCK ON MR. FUT!

P.S. I was a bit scared during the install process because when I first got everything out fo the way, I had a hard time getting the bar to seat properly so all for bolts lined up with the holes on the bar. Eventually I got the hang of it and locked her down. looks awesome!!

I'm back from vacation and got mine on too.... My setup is just like Octane's CLS/GC/Koni and now MLS. It already handled pretty tight, but now I notice much more immediate response on highway lane changes.

i too have competely stock suspension, and i noticed a huge improvement with the installation of my mls copy.
