It's been a while since I bought any car audio equipment. I was also going to get Infinity Reference or Kappa speakers. I don't need anything really serious (and I listen to mostly classic rock, it that makes a difference. Any suggestions?

Kenwood makes pretty good equipment. That's actually a really good deal for the pair with remote, email the seller and check em out good. They have a perfect feedback, so go for it!

the price is pretty good, but why do you want a tape deck?

should just go with a nice cd player for that price and you get better over all sound quality than the add on cd player and the tape deck.

that sounds like a hell of a good deal... any other 2 din setup would cost around 350-400... i got mine for 300 but thats just cause i'm a slick talker... and kenwood does make quality stuff. IMHO i think you have to go double din in the ledge, i just don't like the look of a normal unit with some little case underneath it... if i was in your shoes i would go for it
