The rubber molding around the inside of the front doors is worn out on my 93 L because of entry/exit rubbing. The back doors are fine and they shut with satifying thunk. But the fronts close with a harsh sound.

Acura of Augusta wants like $110 bucks apiece for these things. Can you use another aftermarket molding for the messed up black part and leave the farbric part from the original molding?

The only repair I know of is to locate some used mouldings or buy new at discount. The OEM weatherstrip is never inexpensive.
