my door is creeking and squeeking horribly its comming from the black rod that goes into the door ..how do you replace this or take it out to at least greese it , cause i;v sprayed tons of **** in there with no results

PS it is really bad its not alittle squeek you can feel it rubbing metal on metal and the door is harder to open then others does this part go bad ever? oh and what is this part called so i can stop refering to it as the part

Are you sure it is coming from the plastic look arm? Mine was squeeking a bit myself, and I though it was coming from that spot as well. The oiled that plastic part and it never worked. Then I oiled the hingers, and it turned out to be the lower metel hinge.

im pretty sure its comming from the plastic arm ..iv taken the plastic off and u can feel it creaking from there. its really bad and its from inside the door where i cant see or get to.
