what does it mean? i took out my changer but i need to get the cartridge out. anyone know how to do this? thanks in advance

I had this happen with a used changer I bought. If you take the cover off you can eject the magazine by pressing on the little arm that the changer is supposed to press but isn't and it will pop out. Then plug the changer in with the magazine out and once the power is on insert the magazine and make sure it works before you go through the trouble of putting the cover back on. The used changer I bought kept giving me the E-01 code and I did this three times before it started working and since then I hav'nt had any trouble yet and it's been a couple of months. hop this helps.

thanks, i've done that already. i think i've come to the coclusion though that its the cd stuck where they play from.
