yea i think this should be stickied. but theres a lot of work to do and pictures to get. i'm gonna add the visors and SirCharles' pic of the visors. Thank you SirCharles!

P.S. are those 5th gen Prelude wheels?
glad to be of service, I'll try and get more pics soon as i can.

yes they are prelude wheels, the directional ones (the other side are a mirror image) only 16 inch but it keeps the ride nice

Don't worry chaps, you didn't just get done over with the legend, your bmw's are the same! I have an m3 evolution convertible - euro spec is 321bhp with a 6 speed manual or semi auto.

you guys got a watered down 240 bhp version if i remember rightly! 5 speed auto or manual! guess they just think they can get away with it!

actually, out of interest, did you guys get the external temp gauge in the us spec cars. Along with digital trip counters?

I know the uk spec model had an analog trip counter and odometer.

JDM models have digital trip (a) and (b) and external temp reading in the little status monitor in the middle of the instruments.

Also forgot to add my legend has dimmable courtessey lights too- the lights in front and rear footwells come on with the headlights and this is dimmable.

And I don't think i mentioned the car has automatic headlights- they come on sidelights as it gets dark, then onto dipped beam once its a bit darker.

There is also electronic adjustment for tilt and reach on the steering wheel... dont know if you guys got that. You put the key in and the wheel moves to position- stored with the seat memories.

shaylord is right, those are the ones i'm talking about.... I'm gonna have to take some photos for you guys though cos it seems there are so many differences.

Buttons on my legend- the three on the left side of the instrument cluster are select, reset, and rear demist. on the right are tilt, slide, and close (sunroof), and the four by the key are tcs, front fog, cruise on, and cruise off. The dimmer switches are on the opposite side.

I noticed another difference too.... lhd cars have a hand operated handbrake. rhd have a third pedal like the big mercs etc.

Dont worry about searching too hard for pics, I will take some of mine at the weekend, it's purely a case that I leave for work and its dark, I get home from work and it's dark. I would rather take the photos in daylight thats all.

Anybody need any other jdm pics while I'm at it? Might as well help you guys out if I can!

SirCharles,
just take some pics during ur tea break...........hahaha......j/k.
I dont use the legend for work :D now you've gone and got me moaning about fuel!

diesel saves money!! Anyone who drives any significant distance here uses diesel:

(just to fill you in, jdm cars run 100octane usually, regular unleaded here in the uk is 95. super is 97, shell optimax is 98. So anything high performance: japanese, turbo'd or even my m3 has to be run on optimax (98). Optimax currently costs about one pound a litre, 1 us gallon = 3.785 litres. thats £3.79 a gallon, thats about $6.50 a gallon!)

Diesels do 60mpg, so I love my diesel!
