If he's only pulling the intake to get to the knock sensor harness there is no reason to go that far.Your in for some fun. Lol. Might as well do the head gaskets

As long as you have it off you should clean out the EGR port on the intake, the EGR pipe, etc....

Pull the throttle body, 10 bolts, 4 nuts, and it comes right off. I just installed the intake on my 3.5 today prepping to put the engine in the car.I guess man. You know what I meant then. Depends on the owner and the condition of the car/free time.
