Indicates your alternator is either weak(low voltage) at idle or too high at accelaration.
It could be that your idle is too low. Some change in blower fan speed is normal. Check your volage at the battery with a voltmeter. At idle should be a little above 12 volts, At 2000 rpm a little above 14 volts.
i have noticed this as well, and i think most cars do this. I agree with jetdoc. Its due to the voltage put out by the alternator. at higher revs, more volts, runs the heat and air fans faster.
I JUST got my car back from the shop after 2 and 1/2 weeks. The gasket blew and I wouldn't leave until they fixed it. While I was there waiting for the air to bleed out of the system, I noticed that my fans wuld not come on. But they did come on every tm I cut them off? Weird huh? Is this normal? I have never had an Over heating.
