Brett was my best friend...

http://www.brakesforbrett.com

I should have been in that car...

Our other friend was the one who was driving, he got thrown through the windshield and lived, he lives with the fact that he killed his best friend and it has torn him to pieces inside.

The funny thing is my friend who lived was the most skilled driver out of any of our crew, and was driving a brand new 2004 Special Edition Accord Coupe.

Think about my friends next time you want to push the needle up above 90.

Peace.

I think it's not necessarily dangerous to go above 90, permitted the traffic movement, weather conditions, etc.. If you are to test your top speed, do it on a interstate freeway! Anyone who tests the top speed is probably used to getting alot of tickets, like me. I have done no work to the engine and almost made it to 140. No pics tho, lol

135 and had to slow down ;-)

It was about 5:00AM driving home tired as hell, with my co-worker past out in the passenger seat, I hit 137 but before i could go anymore I past a semi trunk pulled over on the side of the road and once I zoomed by there was a CHP officer right in front of him, he was out of his car and taking to the semi truck driver in front of his truck, after the rush of adrenaline my heart just dropped at the site of the CHP, I got off the nearest exit on took the sidestreets back home praying to God the CHP didn't radio in more officers. That was in my 91 coupe, I just recently purchase a second Legend 1994 type 2 coupe and I'm kinda scared to try my luck now, lol.

I have gotten my legend up between 152 and 156mph on route 95 in S.C coming back to Ohio from Hilton Head. Cant be exact though, I was to busy looking at the road.

180....KM/Hr though for like 2 seconds and then I slowed down to 140.
haha, me as well, it was the first day I got my car, and I wasn't sure of the status on the tires etc, and the fact that I had no knowlage of the condition of the car. It was still pulling very well, and I had 5 Heavy Guys in the car.

I did 115 along side of my homeboy's 2005 TL 6MT. Austin, TX, South I-35.
He switched lanes, and hit the gas.. I hit the gas, too. but he started pulling away.
At that time, I was like, forget it. Noway I'm catching him.

i over took a 97 model CL somewhere by JFK airport doing 110 in my 93L...that wasnt even the fastest i went...i think at the top end our cars come back...i think at the queens meet someone from harlem Legends spoke about a race he had with a late model TL that left him from start but he caught up and left him at the top end

where i am, we dont have much room to go fast.

but on average, ill cruise around 100. thats in the middle of the night, on my way home fomr the beach, or wherever. but at NALM, about 125, to catch up to everyone. i got stuck behind 2 semi trucks on the 2 lane part for some time. as for fastest in a legend, 140. dad was driving to bishop where g-pa lived.
my uncle used to race bikes, and he was heading out to vegas on one of the race bikes, he was getting up with a guy around 165, he would have kept going, but his front wheel was too small for the bike and started to wobble. so he backed off. the other guy kept going. he later met up with him and they shared stories.

I managed 147mph in my 91 Sedan w/5 people in the car
