im so pissed..............
ok heres my problem.
i ordered these APC alluminum FLOOR MATS with an indiglo APC logo on them...........for $40 each, from JCWhitney.com
so it was $80 for two plus $15 shipping, $95. anyway, they came today..........and i open it up and i see these stupid dinky little FOOT PADS..............that are about 8 inches big!!!!!!!!! for $95, WTF!!! man i feel so stupid.............my dad was yelling at me too, about this is why you dont order stuff through the mail and you buy it in person.......................anyway on their website it says it in huge letters that they are supposed to be FLOORMATS..............
they are in the FLOORMATS section with all the other FLOORMATS.................and now i get them and they are these little 8 inch FOOTPADS...............here is the website:

http://www.jcwhitney.com/product.jhtml?CATID=195016&BQ=jcw2

you can see it says floormats in the product category, on the heading of the page, and even on the pricing information.
and the stupidest thing is it DOES say they are 12" by 8" in small letters on the page............................damn why didnt i see that and realize how small they are.................sh*t.

anyway what should i do? man thats $95 for some sh*tty little foot pads and i still have to buy real floor mats to put them onto!
what a waste of money.............so now what do i do? call them up and b*tch at them??? can i say it was false advertising??? man even if they take em back im still gonna lose the original $15 for shipping and im gonna end up paying to ship them back too, arent I......................

help guys...................im too angry to think.

That's a bummer. I'd chalk it up to a learning experience and try to get whatever money they will give you for a return. There's probably a restocking fee plus shipping back. Check out Acura of Augusta for replacement floor mats.

damn that sucks ass big time. I could kinda relate to you but it wasn't as bad I guess. I bought a couple of pairs of those so called "hyper white, super white" headlights and yeah they were just plain yellow. felt like I've wasted the money and seemed like false advertising cuz hell it wasn't white at all.

but as in your case, I guess the best way is to contact their customer service dept. and let them know that you're indeed very unsatisfied with the product and try to have them work something out for you.

Here is my experience with JCWhitney:

Bought an exhaust tip from them. No problem.

Then they call me up telling me to sign up for some membership. I told them no, I was not going to be home anyway. I wrote to their cusotmer service, telling them to remove me from the list. They responded saying that they weren't customerservice. WHAT THE HELL IS [email protected], then?

A few weeks later, I was billed $98 to my debit card. Putting me into negative. The bank charges me $75 for going into negative, and another $5 each day. I called up the 800 number. They kept insisting that their computer was down, and that they couldn't access my account. I asked them what do they even sell. Apparently I had bought $100 worth of gas savings, at the bargain price of $98.

I had my credit card company dispute the charges. I keep getting called every so often by JCWhitney, asking me to sign up for stuff.

DO you know how annoying it is to be called with this crap when you're in the operating room working on some patient?

for the most part, its a reputable company

they've been around a long time and there are plenty of people across the country who buy from them. if you're not happy, call them up. I'm sure that you could return them without any hassle.

but if you immediately start *****ing you're gonna have a tough time.

you should be able to get a full refund...read their policies:

Return Policy

It says you should be able to return with full refund within 60 days for any reason, so you're really not screwed at all...hope this helps...this is what they say:

Q. How do I return something if I've received a damaged or defective part, the wrong item or I am not happy with my order?

A. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, please return the item within 60 days of the date it was shipped for a full refund or exchange.
The following steps will ensure a smooth return:
1. Find the pre-authorized return on the back of your order document included in your shipment.
2. Fill out the pre-authorization form and enclose it in your return package.
3. Repack the items securely with original packing materials, if possible.
4. Send your return via UPS or Parcel Post Ground Service.
5. Keep your shipping receipt as proof of return.
