Well I'm been thinking of getting something else. I like my car alot, its one of the best I've owned I just feel like getting something with a 6 or 4 cylinder. Now I am open to trades so be open-minded I guess.
Its a 1992 LS400 with 196k miles. I have had the car since September of 2006 and have been all over. I have no problems jumping in this car and driving it anywhere. I am asking for $3800. This is slightly negotiable however but no need to get stupid. I have done the following:
General
1. Timing belt and water pump done
2. Valve cover seals, front crankshaft and camshaft seals
3, New crankshaft and camshaft position sensors
4. 2 new oxygen sensors
3. New alternator
4. New rack and pinion
5. New tie rods
6. Oil change every 2500 miles or every 2 months
7. Coolant flushed.
Mods
1. 20% tint all around including windshield
2. Pioneer In dash dvd touchscreen
3. 17" GS430 rims with Bridgestone Potenzas
4. 6000K HID's
5. Cut out exhaust with welded tips
6. Clear bumper signal lights
7. Remote start/keyless entry
Problems
1. Common leaking power steering pump
2. Climate control display fuzzy, works fine though.
3. Needs some suspension parts replaced. Front strut rod general things that go with mileage and age.
4. I was backed into a short while ago and I had to replace the hood and radiator. The hood came with a damaged grill. I can source a grill for you. The driver side headlight became loose also, you can get another headlight or upgrade to the JDM version which I can also get.
5. Some slight scratches due to age.
I usually get the car fully detailed (clay bar, wax etc) when the season changes. This includes getting the interior detailed as well. All in all it is a nice car that needs just a little to get it 100%. Mechanically the car will drive anywhere. I have driven to Atlantic city, Pennsylvania, Maryland and upstate a couple of times with no issues.
