Let's see...15 year old car, 9464 miles = 631 miles a year. Doesn't smell right to me and I personally wouldn't want a car that old that hadn't been driven at least 2K miles a year. Cars are not meant to sit that much---death on seals, bushings & o-rings.
I recently picked up a 1990 Legend (SoCal) with 27k miles.
I was also worried about seals etc... but everything checked out and the car was, basically, frozen it time. Runs like... a new car.
It's all about how the car was maintained and kept.
Nohing wrong with those miles. For one the owner could have money and possibly muliple cars. I know many people who only drive a car once or twice a month. Then, on top of that, this is Europe. People dont drive like they do here, as they have far superior public transport systems, plus wayy higher gas prices and typically live much closer to where they work. I know i would definatly pay that money for a coupe with so few miles.
For example, i drive my car every single day to work and back. It's only 5 km from my home. So, on the daily basis my car is running for 10-15 km. I have this legend for a year now and i since i bought it, i have driven it for 6000 km.
That's very little, even in european standarts.
damn the link is bad or the listing is gone i wanted to see this thing.
