what all can you do with this system? What else can you hook up to that screen?
youd basically be using this as an MP3 playing system at the least. You could also play movies (video files or DVD discs), Sat-Nav if you buy the USB dongle and navigation software, internet if you get a wireless USB adapter so you can tap into some wifi hotspots, should support some older games (not exactly the fastest computer in the world)

theres a TON of stuff you can do with a carputer...it boggles my mind as to why idiots pay $2000 for an in-dash DVD/Navigation system, when they can pay half that for a computer installation that can play MP3s, DVDs, Navigation, Internet, games... whatever you can do with a computer.

Probably cause its easier to install. To properly install a carputer requires alot of work and the parts and extra accessories you would need to get it really right would bring your cost up anyway.

Besides the carputer does all that but you wont have any radio reception. Not a big deal to some but an issue to most. And here in NYC you can get a dvd with navigation for about $1200.

what he said! still up for grabs.

the processor is 700mhz celeron. the harddrive i think is 20gb enough for your songs and movies. the monitor does have a serial connector so it can connect to any other tower.
