Mere coincidence. I'm just posting what I noticed. It could've been coincidence that 4000 miles after my timing belt, the timing belt and all the remaining drive belts were not as tight, or whatever the case may be.Roger said:why do u think an oil filter would help gas mileage???
Please correct me if I am wrong, most universal mufflers are rated only up to 150 Horsepower, after that, it becomes obsessively loud, simply because it can't handle that much power coming out of it.legendHI said:I didn't want to drop $300 on a new set up when my old muffler rusted off, so for around $100 i got a universal
The G1 has 161 hp? I thought it had more. You got the 2.5 or the 2.7? ah, that's ok, I don't think I would know anyhow, since I don't even own a G1. But, just curious, what are the HP vs. Torque specs of the G1.legendHI said:i'm pretty sure this muffler, whether its actually a "universal" or some cheap performance knock-off, is doing quite fine with my G1's 161 horses.i really like the tone, to be truthful.
I can tell you on other cars, since my Legend requires Premium, I only use Premium.acpac_jet said:does anyone get better performance and/or milage with a higher grade of gas. I use 89 octane, but I am wondering if it would be to my advantage to swith to 90 or 91 (or maybe even 92). I did hear that using a gas grade higher than what you car was rated at can actually hurt the car (something about when you start up and stuff), this true?
