Gas or no gas?

What's the best way to start ones Legend in very cold season? By giving it gas as you crank it over or just cranking it over without giving it gas?

Giving it has while cranking doesn't do much. Only thing you're doing is just moving the throttle butterfly that allows more air into the engine. Are you having a hard time starting?
I live in Norway, and we have really cold winters. The engine still starts, you might have some other issues if you got a problem starting in winter.
(Even though i sometimes have problem with my starter, which is why i got a direct wire to it. But that problem for me, can come in summer time, as well. And the engine still starts both in winter and summer. Even though my idle is really low like around 600. (goes automaticly to around 1100 in wintertime.)
There is no need to give it gas. If you have to as mentioned you have a problem with not enough air entering the intake. I can't think of the name of the valve right now.
