People always say that they want to "Go for a drive" afterwords or go eat or something. It does not always work out though, depending on the actual turnout. I think it's easier to just meet at the orininal location:

When: March 7th
Time: 1 pm
Where: UW parking lot-South


And then go from there. No matter what people say in the meet threads about doing something afterword, it always changes.

Just want to clarify directions for those of us who are directionally challanged. I always like to be prepared. At first when you guys kept saying the same lot as the last meet that was at Husky Stadium, I was actually thinking of a different meet, because I was not at the last Husky stadium meet. I was thinking of the Honda/Acura Meet that a few of us were at a while back-so for a while I was all confused.

Looking at his map, which area is the meet in?

I'll be on I5, so I assume I take the exit right after I cross the water, then turn right?

I don't mean to sound like a moron, I just don't drive up there much.

 

If you're driving on 1-5 (north or south), take the 520 bridge exit. As soon as you go east on 520, take the first exit witch will be Montlake Blvd. At the end of the off ramp, take a left at the light, cross the Montlake Bridge, and keep right. The south Husky Stadium lot will be right after the bridge on the right (E12 on the map).

 

See the area labeled "E10" with the two little bumps on the south side... that is where we are meeting.

If you are going to be on I5, I'm not sure what water you are going to be crossing as you would already be on the west side of the lake...

It might take longer, but these directions will make getting there easier...

Come up 405 north and take 520 west across the water. Take the second exit after you get across the lake - this exit is called Montlake (the first exit is called Lake Washington Blvd).

The montlake exit will swing off to the right - just keep following this road. Stay in the right lane (unless you have to get over because a lane ends or something).

You will go across the canal... forgot the name, I think it is ship canal. Anyway - it is a weird metal bridge that makes a funny sound when you drive over it. Right after this you will come to a stop light - on your right is the parking lot. Come into that parking lot and find us.

Here is a picture from the last Legend meet - the two towers in the background you see are the bumps on the south end of the statium on the map.

 

Look for the climbing rock! Remind me to climb up there and get a nice pic like the one you have
