well
imo i think it would hurt the ecu...or possibly causing the check engine light to come on.

beside it's like a temp sensor...i belive the higher the resistance the hotter the temp...so if you put in a low resistance resistor it trick the ecu to run richer.

what i plan on doing is moving the iat close to the a/f airfilter because its real cold.

really what i did was leave the old sensor in the intake manafold and got one off of and 3rd gen accord lx/dx.
since the wiring and sensor was the same i thought cool.

but it's not i was looking at my current fuel eco.
and at 60mph it went from 33,32,31 and so on.
i was like at 17c.f.e.

and it works.
but today as i had the engine running i thought :
wait the sensor is mounted on the driver front......
which is closer to the t/b.... and at a cool spot.
and with me putting on the cai it made that port even cooler.
so i put it back it seemed to idle better but i have'nt driven her yet.

well thats because it's probably telling the ecu that the temp is real hot...so it's leaning the mixture.

try i lower resistor.
i think if it's too cold(resistance too low) it might hesistate....
