Yes, this is very common. You actually have to unplug the changer to reset it. It sucks, but I guess it's just another way for Acura to bring you in to the shop! Try just changing to FM on the stereo and see if that resets it. If not, unplug the changer, turn on the radio, put if on FM, trun it off, and plug the changer back in. Should be good after that.
