Wow, didn't realize that my first initial post would turn into this. Anyway, like I said in the very first post, I didn't do this mod expecting power. People on the 350z forum who dyno the car before and after, see about a 3 horspower difference, but that is easily likely due to normal variation in dynos.

What I did notice which was not placebo is smoother idle and acceleration.

Understood. Unlike some other engineer types that have been here, you haven't been a raging asshole just because somebody disagreed with you and that is a welcome sight. I don't necessarily agree with all of your points but I understand where you are coming from. But hey, healthy discussion is supposed to be what this Forum's all about, right?

It may or may not be. Like I said, with aftermarket electronics on a car, a better ground may be necessary, but even if it is, you don't have to buy a kit to beef up the car's wiring. As for the smoother accel and idle...the thing is how do you know it's not placebo? It could be. People with the fuel tornado said the same thing but tests showed otherwise. I'm not calling you a liar as much as I'm saying the facts don't support any claims.

I really hope that people see that there's been no real supportive evidence in favor of this product. I'm not trying to mess up the guy selling the kits, and have no malice toward him/her, I just hate the fact that people are selling these. Please, for the last time people, if you're dying to waste money like this take the exact items that are in the kit, go to your local car stereo shop, and ask them for that same stuff...you'll pay half as much, even while they're laughing at you for doing it. I think that's it for me, otherwise I'll be repeating myself.

I hear what you're saying and I believe you. However, I like how the set-up of the wires look and I think if it smoothes out my idle and in any way increases the effeciency of the electrical system then I want to try them. Paying $60 bucks or Half as you say really is not that big of a deal. I'm not a rich guy by any means but I do like to support other members of our Legend community. I appreciate you looking out for us but please all I ask is not to be lectured to. I'm sure we all appreciate the information you provided as well as your opinions, but once you've said what you had to say let those of us who want to "throw our money away". throw it, I think we've earned that right.

Anyway, I don't know about the rest of the group buy members but I'm still going to buy and install the kit and take it from there.

Yes for aesthetic reasons the wires look nice. I agree. But yes, you don't have to pay more than $20 or $30 for a good set from your local shop. Like I said though, if you have cash to burn okay.

It won't smooth out your idle or increase the efficiency of your electrical system in any way. There is no reason to believe it does and plenty to show that it doesn't. But again, it's your choice. I don't believe I have been lecturing...and as I said last time (except when people say something to me directly) I'm done with my general appeal here.
